I love you more than life itself, and I value your counsel over anybody. However it is time for you to let me follow my own path. I do not want to be a doctor, nor do I want to be a lawyer. I wish to be what I want to be not what you wish me to be. Please stop diminishing my choices because they do not align with yours. When you were my age you probably said the same thing to your own parents. You decided to leave Nigeria for America and became a lawyer . A dream that was yours alone. So please let me have mine.
